This work is an installation which explores Sophie's personal experiences during her dancing girlhood. Specifically how damaging this environment was for the way she perceived her body during childhood, and how these attitudes have consequently trickled into adulthood after years of continuous critique.

The metal frame contrasted with the fragile tights, represents the restrictions and discomforts of the 'dancer'; and is a representation of a policed body.
