Shown at Central Saint Martins final degree show 'New Economic Modalities', When I Was Younger, I Was A Dancer (2023) explores the restrictions Sophie places on herself, which stem from critique during her dancing girlhood.

 

She compares metal to the skeleton, because it is her skeleton and whatever she is filling it with, are her  ‘organs’ covered by her ‘skin’.
